Martin Fox has been involved in motorsports for his entire career. He has worked at nearly every level of the industry, from Formula 1 to Indy Car to professional GT racing, and everything in between. Prior employers include Team Ensign F1 UK, Galles Racing, Gainsco Bob Stallings Racing, and Global Motorsports. Martin also spent several years in Thailand building a carbon fiber chassis supercar in conjuction with Galmer Inc. He completed several restoration projects for the Unser Museum in Albuqerque, NM. Most recently, Martin has been working on Indy Car restorations.
In addition to being Geoff Brabham's Crew Chief at the Indianapolis 500 in 1986, Martin has passed his wrench over the cars of such drivers as Jon Fogarty, Alex Gurney, Memo Gidley, Al Unser Jr., Davy Jones, Roberto Moreno, Eddie Lawson, Bobby Rahal, Danny Sullivan, Clay Regazzoni, Danny Ongais, Derek Daly, Nelson Piquet, Marc Surer, Tiff Needell, and recent US open wheel rising star Dakota Dickerson.
